Pretty eventful day. I was actually anticipating a call from Melis letting me know her water broke and baby is on the way. With a little over an hour before March 1, it looks like the Leap Year Macaraeg baby is not going to happen...Melissa had her appointment today with her GYN, who is awesome by the way. Special shout out to Dr. K... I think everyone who works at the Kaiser Fremont OR sees her (women at least), which is kind of weird, if you know what I mean. But I'm not a female, so forget I mentioned anything.
Anyways, we listend to baby's heartbeat and just chatted about random stuff... Which is how about 90% of all the appointments are.... Next appointment is Thurs. 03/06 and Dr. K is going to "check the cervix." She mentioned she's notorious for "speeding up the process" during these last "checks of the cervix." March 10th baby... March 10th.
Afterwards, Melissa and I decided to have our last "dinner and a movie" night together before baby. Ate at Thai Basil in Dublin... Delicious. We met up with Ben and Jenny, and their brother Matt and his girlfriend Noren to watch Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell. Three words: LOVE ME SEXY.
Good movie, definitely had its funny parts. Will Ferrell was really tame in this movie (compared to his other slapsticks), but it had a cool story and all the characters had their moments... 3 out of 4 stars.
